The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, starting in September. The successful candidate will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, or physical disabilities.
- Assist classroom teachers in differentiating instruction and adapting learning materials to meet the individual needs of SEN students.
- Support students with social and emotional development, promoting positive behavior and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with SENCO and other staff members to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
- Contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with students who may have complex needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
