Are you an experienced SEN teaching assistant? If so, then this role may just be for you! We are working with an innovative Secondary school in Su who are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience in behaviour management.

The SEN teaching assistant will develop educational plans and find strategies to work for all student learning abilities.

  Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:

•Play an important role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students with special educational needs.

•Help manage challenging behaviour by implementing behaviour management strategies and provide positive reinforcement.

•Observe and report any concerns regarding student’s behaviour.

•Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, promoting social interaction and emotion well-being.

     About you:

  • You will be educated to a degree level.
  • Knowledge of special needs – Prior experience of working with students with special educational needs would be desired.
  • Excellent communication skills to individualised learning experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
