As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies
- Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments
- Supporting students with their academic and social development
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with children
- A desire to learn and develop professionally within the education sector
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment
