Are you on the lookout for a new opportunity as a SEN teaching assistant for a Primary School based across Leeds?

We are looking for a special needs teaching assistant for our Primary Schools located in Leeds. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is comfortable with, and passionate about, working with a variety of SEN needs.

We are looking for someone who provides an engaging environment for all, aiding children to achieve their best and someone who can thrive in a creative and dynamic environment.

✨ Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with SEN children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Encouraging and support children with class tasks.
  • Communicating effectively with students and provide behavioural support to create a safe and fun earning environment.
  • Use a range of resources and learning techniques to help students understand and engage in lessons.

✨ We are looking for someone with:

  • A passionate and positive attitude towards creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for SEN children.
  • An open-minded individual who enjoys a collaborative environment.
  • Adaptable and versatile individual, who can apply this to a classroom environment.
  • Holds a valid DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
