At Protocol Education we are currently looking for resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work full time.

We work with many primary schools in Leeds with children between the ages 4- 11 some children have needs including social and emotional needs, Autism, hearing, visual, physical and other health needs not requiring daily medical intervention . The schools aim to encourage independence at all times with a spotlight on communication to enable all students to communicate any and all needs and wishes to others inside and outside of a school setting.

About the role:

Our SEN TA duties can include:

  • Working with small groups of pupils
  • Providing intervention support
  • 1:1 support for SEND and lower ability pupils

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Some experience of working with children or in a school (Not essential)
  • A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Have a passion for working with children with adverse backgrounds
  • Creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
  • Some knowledge of basic core subjects

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
