Once you are registered with us we have various opportunities to offer you depending on your availibility and your preferences. We can offer you long-term, short-term, daily supply roles.

About the school:

Various mainstream Primary school in Lewisham has a large proportion of students with additional needs including ADHD, EAL, Autism (ASD/ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Hearing Impairment (HI), Visual Impairment (VI), Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SpLD). 

The school work closely with parents and outside agencies to make sure they are providing the best possible support to all of their students.

The Senor Leadership Team are extremely passionate about promoting a healthy work-life balance and go to great lengths to ensure staff well-being is looked after.

About the Role:

As a SEN TA, you will be working with 1 or 2 children with additional needs to help them access the curriculum as much as possible. You will assist them within the classroom and use various different teaching techniques to ensure they are progressing.

As part of this role, you will also run interventions with your students outside the classroom.

You will play a major part in the routine of these children, so it is important all applicants are reliable and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

What we need from you: 

If you have previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or are passionate about improving the outcomes for young people, this is the role for you.

 As an individual you will be passionate about supporting SEND children and this will be evident in your positive approach on a daily basis.

It is desired (although not essential) that applicants have a certain qualification of Special needs + great experience in working with children with SEND.
