Opportunity

I am seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Qualified SEN Teacher to work within a SEN provision. Working as a SEN Teacher can be challenging so resiliance is key within the role but if you enjoy that no two days are the same then this maybe the role for you.

As a SEN Teacher within the school you will teach over a range of subjects providing professional and learning development for all students with support from teaching staff.

 

About the role

  • Contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum taking into account the special needs of the pupils within the classroom
  • Set, monitor and review personal development plans for the students to achieve the learning targets
  • Be able to monitor, assess and review the progress and work of the pupils to both parents and other teaching staff
  • Take responsibility for own professional development and maintain knowledge through research and training where appropriate
  • Develop lesson plans that are engaging and target at the right level for the pupils needs

Requirements

To be successful in your application you must have the following:

  • PGCE/QTS status
  • Experience of teaching a range of subjects ideally within a SEN Provision
  • A passion for teaching children with SEN needs
  • A child DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase

Please note that the role is for full time and therefore must be available to work Monday to Friday 8.30 to 16.00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
