At Protocol Education we are currently looking for an experienced, resilient, and enthusiastic Teacher to work full time at a well established SEN school in TW14.
We require a SEN Humnities Teacher at an outstanding school in Hounslow. The role would be based in the school Primary site teaching students of varied levels.
About the role:
Our SEN Humanities Teachers’ duties can include:
- Planning and delivering adaptable lessons to a wide range of pupils and abilities.
- Establishing a safe and stimulating learning environment.
- Teach useful strategies that will aid the students in their out of school lives.
- Marking effectively to enable progression with students.
- Safeguarding of all students and staff.
- Assessment.
- 1-to-1 Intervention.
- Group intervention.
- Whole schoolwork.
The ideal SEN Humanities Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience teaching a range of subjects.
SEN Humanities Teacher experience:
- Build Strong relationships.
- Be able to de-escalate behavioural needs safely and calmly.
- Experience teaching in mainstream secondary, SEN, pupil referral unit, SEMH schools.
- Plan deliver and mark a minimum of a good lesson.
- Be able to commute easily.
- Excellent behaviour management skills in line with the Academy Behaviour Policy.
- (ADD, ADHD, ODD, CAMHS, Complex Needs, Behaviour Difficulties, Autism or MLD.)
