Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt lessons to meet SEN students’ needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that accommodates the unique requirements of each child.
  • Engage with children to facilitate their social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Collaborate with other education professionals, parents, and guardians to support the wellbeing and progress of students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo the process.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to working with children.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage students and work as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with SEN children is highly desirable but not essential.
