Do you have experience of working with children with Special Needs?

We are working with a school who are looking for a teaching assistant to support their SEN class specifically SEMH and Challenging Behaviour.

The school is located in Middlesbrough.

Monday to Friday, term time only

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Childcare Level 2 or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in a primary school and or SEN School.
  • Enhanced Child Only DBS clearance on the update service (or be willing to get one)
  • Overseas police check (if applicable) for individuals who have lived or worked abroad for more than 6 months within the last 5 years.
  • Experience in working with children with Special Needs.
  • Delivering high-quality support to teachers
  • Attending to the needs of the children in the class.
  • Assisting with planning, preparation, and differentiation of classroom activities
  • Supporting the student in their academic and social development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
