SEMH/SEN Teaching Assistants

  • Full-time position (32.5 hours a week)

Protocol Education are currently working with multiple schools located across East London who are seeking both SEMH Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to join them ASAP. This is the perfect opportunity for graduates looking to develop the skills needed for roles in educational therapy, mental health, support work, teaching and more!

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons (KS1 – KS5)
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
  • Setting targets for individuals to work towards

Must haves:

  • Child workforce only DBS on the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
