Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher to join our team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to secondary school students across a range of subjects.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to secondary school students
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant subject

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working as a supply teacher

Working Conditions:

This position is a contract role with full-time hours. The successful candidate will work in secondary schools in the East of England region, primarily in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The salary range is £120 - £150 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
