We are currently recruiting for science technicians to be based within a secondary school in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
This role is open to individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about science. You need to have completed university studies in an area of science and have good experience within a laboratory setting.
This role will involve setting up and supporting the production of experiments. You will also work under the direction of the class teacher to support students within lessons.
This is a full-time role and the typical hours 8am – 4pm.
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
- Has competed a BSc in an area of science.
- Is passionate about supporting students with their academic development.
- Has good verbal and written communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
