Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher who specialises in KS1 & KS2 level, to work in an excellent specialist SEND school in Sale, Manchester (M33, United Kingdom). This position is to start ASAP (pending clearance and compliance checks), with the potential to go long-term across the academic year 2024 or permanent.

In this highly rewarding role, you will be both teaching Science and supporting vulnerable children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, such as Anxiety/Depression/complex learning disabilities, or being identified as having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan (EHCP).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teaching certification (QTS)
  • Profound knowledge of the Primary school science curriculum
  • Ability to create innovative and captivating lesson plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and motivating students
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles
