Your Role – Making a Difference:

As a valued member of the team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging in innovative recreational activities, from exciting trips to the Safari Park to local restaurant visits.
  • Implementing actions outlined by specialist colleagues, such as speech therapists and educational psychologists, and providing constructive feedback on sessions.
  • Teaching life skills in a contextual manner and supporting individuals in integrating these skills.
  • Contributing to and promoting the development of communication, self-help, and independence skills.
  • Supporting individuals in maintaining and enhancing their health, addressing emotional needs, and always promoting increased independence.
  • Nurturing and encouraging young people to thrive in their environment, both at home and in the educational setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
