Protocol Education is hiring a School Support worker in Sunderland.

We are offering you the chance to apply your skills to help children with developing sensory awareness, enhancing motor skills, aligning with care plans, teaching vocabulary, fostering speech and language development, and contributing to creative lessons such as art, cooking, music, and dance.

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with Autism or special educational needs within the school setting.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement individual education plans.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
