Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised education plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special needs.
- Create engaging and accessible lesson plans that promote active learning and development across various domains.
- Provide differentiated instruction and support to address the specific learning styles and abilities of each student.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student progress.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and positive behaviour management.
- Utilise assistive technology and adaptive resources to enhance learning experiences and accessibility for all students.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience of working with children with special needs in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
