Protocol Education is recruiting a qualified science teacher to be based in one of the schools we have a fantastic partnership with in Wolverhampton.
The school is accessable via bus routes and driving. The school is looking for long-term cover beginning immediately, with the potential for a permanent position.
The person we are looking for should:
- Be creative and hardworking.
- Have excellent personal organisational and leadership skills.
- Be adaptable with a good sense of humour and able to take the initiative.
- Be a very good team worker with the capacity to build relationships at all levels across the organisation.
- Be prepared to contribute to broad aspects of Science.
- Be proactive; a forward thinker with an effective grasp of developments within Science.
- Be able to work successfully as part of a highly effective and successful team.
Qualifications and experience:
- A graduate with qualified teacher status.
- A strong teacher of Science- this post is also suitable for ECTs.
- Relevant qualifications (both formal and through appropriate experience) to meet the challenge of the appointment.
- Excellent in-depth knowledge of the place of the Science curriculum in the development of young people and of the place of within the wider curriculum.
An understanding of the importance of a rigorous reading strategy to ensure students’ confidence and reading fluency.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
