Position Summary:

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and instilling a love for mathematics. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can create a stimulating and supportive learning environment, making complex mathematical concepts accessible to students of diverse abilities.

THIS ROLE IS BASED IN WANDSWORTH

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspiring Instruction: Deliver engaging and dynamic mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering a love for the subject.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Maths curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest educational standards and best practices.
  • Student Support: Provide personalized support to students, identifying and addressing individual learning needs to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to the overall development of the school community.

Qualifications:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of current educational trends and best practices.

The base salary for this role varies between £150 - £250 depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
