Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons to students
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create engaging and interactive learning materials
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in English or related field
  • Proven experience teaching English to students

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in English or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the English curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. It may require occasional participation in school events and meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
