Job Title: Psychology Teacher

 

A wonderful Indepedant school in Cambridge is currently looking for a full time Psychology Teacher to plan, prepare and mark their lessons up until the end of the academic year.

Salary:

£140 - £170 per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging psychology lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Psychology or related field

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching psychology at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of psychology curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
