Job Duties:

  • Assist in teaching and learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
  • Work with children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Provide assistance in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings
  • Contribute to classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Psychology

Education:

  • Degree in Psychology

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) support strategies
  • Familiarity with working with children with ADHD
  • Ability to work effectively in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or qualifications in SEN support

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
  • Work within a school environment in Esher, Surrey
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support students in various educational settings
