Protocol Education is currently searching for enthusiastic Psychology graduates to fill the position of Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant in South Tyneside and the surrounding areas.

About the role:
- Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis, offering additional support as required.
- Assist in general classroom activities to enrich student learning.
- Opportunities for advancement onto our Future Teachers Programme.
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess effective communication skills to engage with staff and students, monitoring progress and contributing to a nurturing school atmosphere.
- Remain composed and adept at managing challenging behaviours and situations.
- Demonstrate transferable skills and a sincere interest in supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Exhibit patience and understanding towards the diverse needs and circumstances of all students.
Resilience is required, and teaching experience is desired but not essential.
