Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers and staff in delivering high-quality educational programs and interventions to students.
  • Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies and support plans for students with diverse needs.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, including tutoring and mentoring as required.
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of data to monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of workshops and activities promoting mental health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Genuine interest in working with children and young people, particularly in an educational setting.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience, with the ability to support students facing challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the role and the institution.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
