The Role: As a Qualified PSHE Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and informative lessons that cover a wide range of topics including mental health, relationships, personal finance, and more. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality PSHE lessons that are interactive, thought-provoking, and relevant to students' lives.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Providing guidance and support to students as they navigate complex issues and develop essential life skills.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate PSHE education across the curriculum and promote a whole-school approach to student well-being.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest research and best practices in PSHE education and incorporating them into your teaching.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism or experience in PSHE education, with a deep understanding of relevant topics and issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine interest in supporting students' personal and social development.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
