Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated supply primary teacher to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student learning, and maintaining a positive classroom environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively, ensuring the continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Providing support and guidance to students to facilitate their learning and understanding of key concepts.
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues, students, and parents regarding student progress and any concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with primary school students is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
