Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students
  • Develop lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in primary schools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in primary education
  • Sound understanding of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in special education or teaching English as a second language
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, temporary position
  • Work in a school setting with primary school students
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
