Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and passionate Primary School Teachers for long-term bookings to join our team. As a Primary School Teacher with long-term bookings, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the education and development of students over an extended period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring all lessons meet the needs and abilities of the students and adhere to the school's policies and guidelines.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and motivated to learn, and where their social, emotional, and academic development is nurtured.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement, and to promote critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning skills.
  • Assess student progress and achievement regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, and use this data to inform instruction, provide feedback, and support students' individual learning needs.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and provide updates on student progress, achievements, and any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, including teaching assistants, specialists, and support staff, to create a cohesive and supportive team environment and ensure the holistic development of all students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and training to enhance your skills and knowledge as a teacher, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practices within the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching across the primary curriculum, preferably in a variety of settings, and a strong understanding of effective pedagogical practices and assessment strategies.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education and support for students' holistic development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and to quickly establish rapport with students and staff in new schools.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance, or willingness to undergo a DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
