Job Description:
We are currently seeking adaptable and committed Supply Teachers to cover classes in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work on a flexible basis, covering short-term absences, long-term placements, and day-to-day assignments across both KS1 and KS2.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for both KS1 and KS2 students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment conducive to student success.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with school staff and teaching assistants to ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
  • Support students' academic and personal development needs, fostering a love for learning.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 settings.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching styles.
  • Flexible availability to take on assignments at short notice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
