If so, we have an exciting position for you to join our team as a SEND Classroom Teacher in Harlow.

 

 

Protocol Education are looking to recruit either an experienced or Primary or SEND teacher to join a specialist school in Harlow on a Long Term / Permanent basis. 

The school is based in Harlow and are currently expanding to two sites. They are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to support the wellbeing of their pupils. 

You will be joining an incredible team that predominantly work with students with severe, moderate and complex needs. Therefore, experience in special educational needs is preferred but not essential! 

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important. Being able to work in a team of other professionals is also an integral part of this role. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for students with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for teaching and learning.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the development and well-being of every student.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
