SEMH Teacher/Instructor/HLTA/Cover Supervisor required ASAP!

We are looking to recruit a strong teacher or Instructor/HLTA who has a passion for teaching students with social, emotional, mental health needs.

You will be joining a thriving Alternative Provision in Southend, that support students with SEMH. Therefore, experience/qualifications/enthusiasim to teaching pupils with challenging behaviours is preferred. 

However, if you are a robust, resilient and patient teacher with a genuine desire to dig deep and build rapports with trauma experienced and looked after children – this is the role for you!

Experience planning, preparing and delivering the Primary or Secondary curriculum and leading classes is essential. Being able to build strong rapports and breaking down barriers to learning is also a must in this role.

This is a full-time teaching role, with the opportunity to go permanent if all goes well.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
