A reputable educational institution in South East England, Surrey, Epsom, is seeking a dedicated and experienced PPA Teacher to join their team. This is a contract position with full-time hours.
Job Duties:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school students.
- Provide support and cover across various Key Stages, including KS1, KS2, and Early Years.
- Plan and prepare engaging and differentiated lessons to cater to students' individual needs.
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher meetings as required.
- Adhere to school policies, procedures, and standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a primary school teacher.
- Demonstrated experience working with SEN students.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and teaching standards.
- Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant field.
- Additional certifications or training in Special Educational Needs.
Working Conditions:
The PPA Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school's academic calendar. The role involves regular classroom teaching, planning, and collaboration with colleagues. The teacher will be expected to work full-time hours as per the contract. The position offers a competitive daily rate of £140 - £150 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
