Role Overview: As a PPA/Daily Supply Primary Teacher, you will cover short-term absences, PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time, and other temporary teaching needs across various year groups within the school. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to experience different classroom environments and teaching styles while delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover for short-term teacher absences, PPA time, and other temporary teaching needs as required.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that align with the curriculum and educational objectives.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs and abilities of students in different year groups and subjects.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and engagement.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including behavior management and safeguarding protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure continuity and consistency in students' learning experiences.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Previous experience teaching in primary schools, preferably across multiple year groups.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to thrive in a variety of classroom settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
  • A commitment to promoting a positive learning culture and supporting the holistic development of students.
