Job Duties:

  • Provide cover for planned and unplanned teacher absences across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons following the school's curriculum
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support learning
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Prior experience teaching in primary schools
  • Experience working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or other relevant areas

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with full-time hours
  • Work may involve travel to different schools within the Greater London area
  • Expected to adhere to school policies and procedures
