Job Duties:

  • Provide cover teaching for PPA and daily supply at primary school level
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Assess students' work and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver lessons

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

  • Degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Experience with PPA cover and daily supply teaching

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in special education or specific subject areas

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment with primary-aged children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
