Job Duties:

The PPA/Daily Supply Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to primary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher. This includes planning and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Experience teaching in a primary school setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners - Good classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) - Additional training in Special Education Needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

The PPA/Daily Supply Primary Teacher will work in a primary school setting, following the school's academic calendar. The role may involve working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds, requiring flexibility and adaptability in teaching approaches.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
