Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and informative physics lessons to students
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Provide individualised support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching physics is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and inspire students
  • Strong understanding of physics concepts
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in Education
  • Experience working with students of varying abilities

Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours in a school setting. The teacher will be required to plan lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
