Position: Performing Arts and Physical Education Teacher

Salary: £120-£180 per day

We're looking for a dynamic Learning Area Leader in Performing Arts and Physical Education to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an innovative individual passionate about both disciplines, contributing to a culture of high achievement, excellent teaching, and student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead the Learning Area Team for high-quality teaching in Performing Arts and Physical Education.
  • Foster a creative and innovative teaching environment.
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership and managerial skills within the Learning Area.
  • Develop a strong ethos of high achievement and success, setting clear expectations.
  • Track, monitor, and support student progress within the Learning Area.
  • Ensure standards are raised and excellent progress across all subjects in Performing Arts and Physical Education.
  • Showcase a proven track record of successful pupil outcomes in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Contribute experience to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning practices.

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant qualifications and certifications in education, focusing on Performing Arts and Physical Education.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or PGCE is essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • Meet the outlined person specification for the role.
  • Successful candidate subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
