Full job description

Are you an active, enthusiastic individual who enjoys delivering the subject of PE? Would you like a new challenge where you fan engage students and encourage their enjoyment of physical education and exercise? This could be the role for you!

One of ourpartner Secondary Schools located in Sunderland are looking for an experienced of PE to deliver the KS3 and KS4 curriculum to female students across the school initially on a supply basis but with a long term permanent opportunity for the right individual. The school offers an opportunity to really make an impact on student learning and will require someone with strong classroom management skills who is confident in their teaching approach. The role will commence in September 2024.

The role is on a full time supply basis initially but would offer the right candidate a long term opportunity within a supportive faculty. You will hold a strong focus on student attainment and delivering the subject of PE with passion and interest.

You must have:

  • a keen interest in being active and the subject of physical education
  • previous experience of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
  • QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • recent school experience in the same or a similar role
