Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Physical Education (PE) lessons to students
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Promote physical fitness and overall health among students
  • Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support students' holistic development

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or related field
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for PE
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching PE
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage students
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to physical activities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or PE
  • Experience in organising sports events and competitions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
