Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities
  • Develop and implement appropriate PE curriculum
  • Organise and oversee sports activities and events
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialism in Physical Education
  • Knowledge of relevant curriculum and assessment frameworks

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education
  • Experience working with children and young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of sports and fitness principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Physical Education
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with classroom and outdoor activities
  • Interact with students, parents, and other teaching staff
  • Potential involvement in extracurricular sports clubs and events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
