£140 - £180 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum
- Assess students' physical abilities and monitor their progress
- Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues on students' performance
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in all physical activities
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Physical Education or related field
- Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Physical Education curriculum and assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to physical education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialisation in Physical Education
- Experience coaching or participating in sports at a competitive level
Working Conditions:
The PE Teacher role involves working full-time hours in a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. The position requires a high level of physical activity and may involve outdoor sports activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
