Pastoral Administrator 

A school in Shirehampton are seeking a Pastoral Adminstrator to join their vibrant and dedicated Admin Team on a full-time basis. They are seeking someone who is organised, forward thinking and flexible as the role is incredibly varied, with no two days being the same which keeps things interesting. 

Full training will be provided for this role.

Start date: ASAP 

Desireable skills, experience or qualifications: 

  • Educated to GCSE Level with strong numeract and literacy 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable using IT equipment - experience of Microsoft and advantage 
  • Experience of working within a team
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently 
  • Prior experience within administration, or working within education or healthcare 

Your responsibilties: 

  • Support the admin manager to prepare for school inductions, including new students joining the school
  • Liaising with parents/ carers about students behaviour 
  • Support with the organisation of parents evenings, school photographs, student injections, open days and other events
  • Minute taking in meetings, filing and letter writing 
  • Produce weekly and termly attendance and behaviour data

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
