You will NOT be expected to know the content. You will be expected to supervise pupils, ensuring they are engaged in the classwork. Encourage pupils to interact. Help pupils to become more independent in their learning. Establish trust with pupils, interacting with them according to individual needs

 

No prior experience or qualifications required! However, childcare experience is prefereable and the right character to be able to lead a classroom. Educated to a degree level is also preferebale.

 

We are a supply agency who are currently seeking for individuals who are seeking flexible work. You must be comfortable with working as work becomes available, for example, you can be pre-booked in to a school, but you are also expected to be on call in the mornings for school cover. You can work as flexible as you like, ensuring you let us know when you are wanting to work via our app.

 

The role includes: Managing the classroom in the absence of the teacher, keeping control over behaviour, ensuring students remain on task, and explaining the work they must do in that lesson.

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children with SEND.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for education and creating an environment in which the students can improve their studies.
  • The ability to engage students, improve confidence, and positively influence a fun and supportive learning process.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour.
