A Secondary School in Sheffield is looking for a Science Teacher to start asap. 

This is a part-time role working three days/week. Initially the role is to go through to the summer but it is expected to run for longer and possibly become permanent.

This opportunity is open to Physics, Chemistry and Biology Teachers.  The ability to teach two or more sciences will be highly regarded but is not essential.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Science Teacher – Physics, Biology or Chemistry
  • Teaching Science across KS3,4 & 5
  • Working alongside ‘Outstanding’ practitioners throughout the Science department
  • NQTs welcome to apply
  • Part-time (3 days/week)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Outstanding practice in the classroom
  • Science Degree & UK QTS
  • Supporting the ethos and long-term vision of the school
  • Must have a strong academic background throughout – GCSEs & A Levels
  • You must be looking to improve and be a hard-working individual
  • Strong understanding on Science KS3 and KS4 curriculum
