Protocol Education currently work with a range of different schools in the Hackney area who are looking for part-time supply staff to support them on a daily basis.

We are looking to add experienced, motivated and flexible teachers who are looking for flexibility in their work schedule.

Ideally you will be available at least two days a week and happy to cover in a range of different year groups.

Job Duties:

Protocol Education currently work with a range of different schools in the Hackney area who are looking for part-time supply staff to support them on a daily basis.

  • Deliver lessons to primary school students according to the school's curriculum
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with primary school students
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in ICT and other teaching technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience in delivering supply teaching

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time hours, typically covering absences of permanent teachers
  • Classroom-based teaching in primary school settings
  • Potential for travel between different schools within the area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
