This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking for work until the summer holidays. This position is for either level 2 or 3 qualified practitioners, however you must have 6 months experience in a UK childcare setting.
Job Duties:
- Prepare learning materials
- Adapt teaching support according to student's needs
- Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
- Create an interesting environment for students
- Keep records and attend review meetings
- Work with professionals such as speech and language therapists
Required Qualifications:
Level 2 teaching assistant qualification, Safeguarding
Education:
Level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
Experience:
6 months experience in a UK childcare setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- To enjoy working with other people
- To be flexible and open to change
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
- The ability to understand people’s reactions
- Active listening skills
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 teaching assistant qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
