Nursery Assistant

We work in collaboration with several nurseries in Leeds, both private and within school settings. We are looking to hire outstanding, motivated Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Assistants who are willing to make a difference in the development of younger children. Working in a nursery setting, you can truly make a difference in the development of children.

Key responsibilities:

  • Nurture an inclusive, supportive environment where all children feel safe
  • Provide children with exciting and stimulating opportunities that support development
  • Encourage learning through play whilst leading small group structured activities
  • Support the acquisition of learning tools such as recognising the alphabet, counting and speech development

Ideal Candidates will have:

  • Clear and current DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working with children
  • A good understanding of child development 
  • Ability to develop good relationships with children and adults alike
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • a team player, with an inclusive and welcoming outlook
