Are you passionate about music education and inspiring the next generation of musicians? We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team.

Role Overview: As a Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape the musical experiences of our students and foster a love for music within the school community. You will deliver engaging and interactive lessons across all key stages, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5, covering a range of musical genres and styles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the planning and organization of extracurricular music activities, such as concerts, recitals, and ensemble performances.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular initiatives and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their musical development.

‍ Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Music or a related subject at degree level.
  • Experience teaching music at the secondary school level, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory, performance techniques, and music technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to participate in relevant training and workshops.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
