Music Teacher for a September Start with QTS - Brent Location
Location: Brent, London
Start Date: September
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can develop their musical skills and creativity.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning and participation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school events, performances, and music programs.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music Education.
- Proven experience teaching music to students at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment and ethos within the school.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
- Is a patient and approachable individual.
- Has positive communication skills..
