Music Teacher for a September Start with QTS - Brent Location

Location: Brent, London
Start Date: September

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can develop their musical skills and creativity.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning and participation.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school events, performances, and music programs.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music Education.
  • Proven experience teaching music to students at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for music education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive learning environment and ethos within the school.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Is a patient and approachable individual.
